Lea Phillips became Dr. Shobeiri's nurse in 2002 and helped to grow the clinical component of OU Physicians Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive surgery. She said "I want to provide wonderful medical care for women through the doctors in our practice who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for women of all ages. Our patients have problems that are very private, personal and sensitive in nature. I feel that our practice exemplifies care and sensitivity for the patients we are fortunate to receive in our clinic. Our staff members are a happy group of people who work together as a team to give the most effective service possible for our patients and the medical community."
Lea died of metastatic lung cancer on 11/15/2014. Her legacy is kept alive with the wonderful care we provide to our patients.
